Helen Dubrovich works in a variety of mediums including watercolour, acrylic, oil and pastels, with various subject matter. After studying art at East Sydney Technical College she started a career in photography after completing the Photography Certificate at Ultimo T.A.F.E. Her interest in art was reawakened after travelling extensively overseas and she resumed painting, realizing this was her true passion. Helen’s images are imaginative, at times romantic and always colourful.
Helen has been an award winning artist for many years including winning first prize for watercolour at the Maritime Museum 2019. Helen grew up in Birchgrove/Balmain but after marriage moved to Sutherland Shire which she has called home ever since.
Helen had another solo show in March 2018 titled “My Watercolour World” based on her many travels both here in Australia and overseas. The exhibition was held at Yuga Gallery and Café in Glebe.
