Plein-Air Painting Group

We’re pleased to announce a new activity for our group members.

We will now have regular outdoor painting sessions at great locations where we can get together, enjoy the fresh air and paint some lovely landscapes.

Painting from life, instead of from photographs is a very good way to improve painting skills.

Also a great way to mix with other members, help each other if needed, and afterwards enjoy a coffee and chat.

Our next Plein Air Painting session

Will be at the Taren Point Shorebird Reserve. The entrance is from Woodlands Road.

The reserve is behind the retirement village Woolooware Shores at Taren Point. There are toilets close by.

Bring a chair as we’re not sure how many seats are there.

Please note if it’s raining, it will be cancelled.

Past outdoor painting sessions

Past plein air painting at the Salmon Haul Reserve in South Cronulla.

Another much enjoyed out door painting session; – lovely weather, great scenery for our artistic inspiration, and of course, great company.

Sans Souci Park, – another great location enjoyed by all who were able to come along and get together for outdoor painting and a catch up with fellow members.
