Jean Byrnes

My long interest in Art came to fruition in 1978 at the art Classes at Gymea TAFE where I attended painting and drawing classes for the next four years.   After a lapse of 18 years, due to family commitments, I resumed painting in 1996.  

Although initially trained to paint with oils, I had lessons to learn water colour and pastel techniques and now use various mediums.

I regularly attend workshops and demonstrations with other artists and participated in life drawing, a weekly painting group and outdoor painting and sketching.

I am a member of Continuum Art Society and Friends of Hazelhurst and regularly exhibit and sell my paintings at local exhibitions.
