I joined Continuum Art Society some years ago to improve my watercolour painting and have served on the committee for the past 15 years.
Calligraphy is my love, consequently my paintings are mostly in miniature form which I combine with my calligraphy, so I do not regard myself as an ‘artist type artist’ but as a painter enhancing my calligraphy.
I have taken classes with David Taylor, Malcolm Turner, Ross Patterson and others which have given me skills in watercolour painting the only medium I use apart from occasionally working in Gouache when painting Heraldic Coats of Arms.
My Calligraphy has won many prizes at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and I also exhibit at Hazelhurst Regional Art Gallery, Gymea and the Continuum In-house exhibitions and attend their workshops.
