Plein-Air Painting Group

We’re pleased to announce a new activity for our group members.

We will now have regular outdoor painting sessions at great locations where we can get together, enjoy the fresh air and paint some lovely landscapes.

Painting from life, instead of from photographs is a very good way to improve painting skills.

Also a great way to mix with other members, help each other if needed, and afterwards enjoy a coffee and chat.

Our next plein air painting will be on Thursday 2nd October, starting at 10am.

Location is at the Salmon Haul Reserve and Playground in South Cronulla.

Our previous Out Door Painting location in August 2025

Our previous plein air painting was on Thursday 7th August at Sans Souci Park.

Another great location enjoyed by all who were able to come along and get together for outdoor painting and a catch up with fellow members.

Our earlier plein air painting was Thursday 5th June at Como Pleasure grounds.

We had a good turnout and the weather was crisp, clear and beautiful. Everyone had a great day.

We’ll look forward to getting together again at the next chosen location.
